Blogging has become such an ‘in’ thing. Thus, many researchers look for ways to know the reason behind its popularity. They find out two main reasons. They are citation (in which your blog is cited as reference by your web visitors or other sites) and affiliation (where you blogroll or link to other blog sites). There are many popular and interesting blogs in the web but I will review only two of this popular sites. The blogger could be one reason why the blog is popular or maybe the content is so rich that people find it stimulating to read.

This blogger is one of the famous celebrity blogger in Technorati and quite well known in the community of bloggers or the blogsphere. The owner of this blog site is Mario Lavandeira, a graduate of Drama in New York University.
His blog received both positive and negative feedbacks. Negative in a sense that his attitude is so brash with regards to his write ups about closet homosexual celebrities. There is also a rumour that he tends to be much nicer to some of his celebrity friends. Despite all the negative feedbacks his blog belongs to the top spot in terms of gossip about celebrities and musicians. There are people who do not support Lavadeira’s style of writing which they refer as shallowness and arrogance.
2. http://bryanboy.com (gay blogger)
This is the website of the popular gay blogger in the Philippines. Bryan boy is one colourful individual and because of this he has travelled to many places. Most of his travel is sponsored by different individual. Bryan boy is quite famous all over the world that Marc Jacob, a famous US designer, even design one of his bag for Bryan Boy. The content of his websites is all just blabbing about his daily life, fashions and the constant crisis in the Philippines. The blog is full of witty sometimes sarcastic content but truly inspired by Bryan Boy.
